10 winters ago strange forces attacked and the fortress city of Kiev. After breaching the defenses, the beasts killed every in their path. Tabitha’s parents hid her under the floor boards of their small home in the city. Giving Tabitha her cloak to stay warm, her mother and father told her to stay quiet so the monsters would not get her. The beasts broke into the house and the clash of steel and screams were all little Tabitha heard. The creatures laid the city to waste. Tabitha hid under the house for over a week. While under there, she found a small box with a strange metal in it that was her father’s. Weak and lost, Tabitha wandered into the nearby mountains clinging to the cloak and box. She was found by a group of dwarves who upon discovering what was in the box took her in. They raised her, teaching her to forge the strange metal, adamantine, into weapons. Tabitha lived with them for ten years. They gave her the adamantine ingot of her father, which she forged into the sword she named “Vindigo”. Now she has set out to avenge her parents.
